I called it!!! I knew 2016 would make a comeback and trend in 2026 cause 2016 was ICONIC, a movie, a dream - that girl!!! The year of the Snapchat filters (I can’t find my dog filter pic lol), IG makeup, Drake wasn’t a lame, and Obama was still President 🥲

It was so hard for me to only choose 20 pics to encapsulate 2016, but all I know is that I got my Master’s in 2016 and I celebrated all haha! I was out of town every weekend that whole summer doing all sorts of things 🤣

LA, Santa Monica, Malibu, Atlanta, Austin, Toronto, Vegas whew!!! Reckless, but no regrets!!

My favorite day of the year! My beautiful birthday, January 10, my “Annual Lena Idell Day”, my personal New Year! Thanking God allowing me to celebrate turning 33 for the 5th time 😜

The past couple of years have been raggedy, but I have a feeling that 2026 will be amazing!!

Thank you MakeUpForever for these 40 shades! I can’t wait to try this new formula (the Matte+ in shade 80 is my holy grail)! In 2018, it should be a standard that brands debut with AT LEAST 36 shades, not add darker shades after the initial launch. My darker-toned shade shouldn’t be an afterthought!

The makeup product that changed the game!!!! Beauty Blender has announced that they are launching their own line of foundation...in 32 shades! This shall be interesting (should be more shades, to be honest)
