“I start with a sketch, outlining the concept/character with some rough lines. If it's something that I didn't draw before I go over and over the same lines till I'm satisfied, using a lightboard and some white paper.

When I'm ok with the sketch, I erase some of the pencil and I start filling the areas with colors, leaving the inks as the last step.
Inspiration & what keeps me creating: for this one and this series, which I'm gonna hopefully bring on bigger canvases like walls, I'm trying to mix some nature elements with basic, positive messages about everyday life.

I like to dream and picture this world where nature gives us advices about how to behave to live a happy life. Sounds naive and a bit new agey, but it's actually better than the diffuse selfishness of our modern times. Maybe it's gonna inspire someone.” -

"My art offers a moment of rest, a colorful break and a moment of self-reflection. You see the monsters and identify with a character. But with the mood, self-perception also changes, and another character is now much more similar to you. With every look at my art, you become more tolerant of yourself and other people, because everyone goes through the same thing as yourself.

And because we all are on the road all the time, POSCA gives me the chance to adapt my art to everyday objects that we can take with us. A colourful reminder 😉” - IG Artist: diefatin

”Back in 2014 I was a complete rookie! I knew absolutely nothing about surfboards or how different materials would react. Someone recommended POSCA pens, and I've been using them ever since.
They've never let me down, so why change a winning horse? 😉

Everything really changed when I decided to decorate my apartment with an old retro fish surfboard that had been rotting away in a corner. I had this crazy idea of painting a realistic tuna using nothing but thousands of tiny dots. It was an insane amount of work, but it paid off—it turned out so good!

Now I'm taking that idea a step further by creating sustainable surfboards together with Sea Shepherd to raise awareness about ocean pollution and the protection of our oceans and the incredible life within them.” - IG Artist: bel.oui.art

“The POSCA Brush markers turned out to be amazing for getting that nice, dynamic line. Plus, those vibrant inks with their CRAZY good coverage? Honestly an unbeatable combo.

My inspiration comes straight from my obsessions and everyday life. I’m huge on dogs—mostly because they’re so wildly expressive and how easy it is to relate to them.” - .com
