Put your hands together for Windy City Comedy Fest’s founder, artistic director, and fearless leader Ariel Julie 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Ariel Julie

In 2024, she had a vision for a Chicago comedy festival run by comics, made for comics. She believed Chicago could bring industry and momentum to careers of her peers and beyond. She was right. Ariel made that a reality. She has worked tirelessly for the better part of 3 years making this festival into the largest Chicago comedy festival.

Ariel is a force. She created and guided a team with precision and dedication to make her vision a reality. As we look towards year 3, made possible by Ariel, we can’t wait to see what lies ahead. Mazal tov, ARIEL - you are making this city a stronger scene than ever.

⭐️⭐️ Don’t sleep on Chicago - this city IS the place for comedy.

We are so grateful to Ariel and her perseverance. Planning and running a huge festival is super difficult and takes so much organization. Our Type A comedy queen makes it possible and we are growing. Stay tuned for more… Ariel is only just beginning.
