Happy Spring! Big news for Sinner's Friend. New album, new logo, new website soon! We just released Among the Living on Bandcamp. 5 original songs, 3 covers and 4 old time songs. You can listen here gratis, or if you are feeling it you can purchase. We are really proud of it and hope you will enjoy it too.

This Sunday we are playing at Sketchbook Brewing Co. in 4901 Main Street in Skokie from 4 – 6pm. We will do 2 sets so catch one set or both! They have great beer, a great atmosphere, and a nice outside space - if the weather is good. Kids are welcome too. We'd love to see you there!

We are also looking for good places to play if you know of any cool venues, bars or want us to do a porch concert this summer into fall.

Hi Everyone!
I am done with my auction and we had a nice success. On to the music! We are playing at Sketchbook Brewery in Skokie on Sunday, October 12 from 4–6PM. Should be a fun show and weather should be good. We are playing inside but you can go in and out or whatever. GREAT BEER AND VENUE. Kids welcome. Last show in our fall tour. Come on down. Sinner's Friend is an old-time string band with a percussive twist. With traditional tunes, unexpected covers, and original songs, all members hail from Chicago: Aron Packer (banjo), Michael Dinges (guitar), Quinn Kearney (tablas), Paul Zimmermann (vocals, percussion), and Paul Jones (fiddle).

Here's Lot 152 in our Dec 4 auction. The MCA has a similar version of this work. CAMPOLI, Cosmo (American, 1922-1996) Birth of Death. 1950-51. Bronze and steel. Unsigned. 31 ¾ h x 11 ½ w x 20 ¼” d. Unsigned. Campoli was a member of the Monster Roster, which included such artist luminaries as Dominick Di Meo, Leon Golub, Nancy Spero and Seymour Rosofsky. This sculpture is the same cast version of Birth of Death (with a different stand) in the collection at the MCA, and the Smart Museum in Chicago. Surface dirt overall. Unusual patterns and textures inherent. Overall good condition. Third party shipping required.
