Good Morning NSiders!

And WELCOME the start of !

Along with more content that will be posted throughout the week, I hope these posts will inspire you as I share stories of my , motivational quotes, other stories that inspire me, etc.

I found this picture on Facebook searching for pictures to add to my first reel, never knew it existed lbs!!!

This picture holds so much weight. This was the start of my media career. In 2012, I started interning at a radio station (that I will not name but if you find out,hey lol) as a board operator.

I was working my entire ass off -coming in early, staying later, learning everything I possibly could -trying to get hired and show I deserved to be there. And then, one day everything drastically changed. My daughter became sick with pneumonia and the host I was interning for informed me not to come back. Crazy right... I will go into more detail in a video for my YouTube Channel but I thought my career was over before it even started.

Fast forward a couple months later, I interviewed and was hired the next day to work at Channel 7 News!

I went from being confused to appreciating that first door closing because an even better one opened!!

I am so EXCITED to finally announce that I’ll be making my acting debut playing the role of 𝒲𝒽𝒾𝓉𝓃𝑒𝓎, the wedding event planner, in the short film produced & written by the lovely, talented Chundria Brownlow or who I love to call my mentor!!!

Fun Fact: I always had a love and appreciation for theatre/acting. Been in several theatre camps when I was younger and almost majored in it in college, but figured I was just too shy to pursue it further so to be bless with this opportunity, I am not only so grateful, but it’s reconnecting me with one of my childhood passions/dreams. Can’t thank you enough Chundria for the opportunity!!! 🙌🏼🙏🏼❤️ Be sure to support and show some love to !
