Urban Gateways Urban Gateways is a non-profit arts organization that engages young people in arts experiences to inspire creativity and impact social change.

Urban Gateways provides high-quality, accessible arts experiences for young people in Chicago. From visual arts residencies to live performances and media arts apprenticeships, our programs connect youth with professional artists to encourage self-expression and social change. Our programs cover a range of artistic disciplines: Music, dance, theater, literary arts, visual arts, digital media, and

interdisciplinary. Across all of these areas, we aim to inspire young people and amplify their voices through creativity. Programs include: residencies, workshops, professional development, performances, Street Level (multimedia youth center), and Teen Arts Pass.
