EXTENDED DEADLINE!!

CALL FOR ARTISTS!

A group exhibition celebrating the creative and impressive artwork of emerging or unknown artists throughout the Chicago land area!

The theme of the exhibition is HUMANITY!

Selected artwork will consist of 2D media (paintings, drawings, and prints) that focuses on the portrait or figure. This show will be surrounded by humanity; celebrating positive contributions, illuminating the struggles of a culture, or any interpretation in between that you can thing of. The exhibition will be well promoted and include an artist talk from each of the artists, as well as, a poetry night on the opening reception. The exhibition will run from Saturday October 10th, 2015 to Friday November 6th, 2015.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support "Best Kept Secrets!" We had a wonderful time. A special thank you to One Stop Productions, the talented artists, and spoken word artist Kente' Kizer and his amazing group of young artists, "Manchild and Styles" for their powerful and inspiring message!!

The exhibition will be up until November 30th, so come and check out this amazing work, Monday through Friday 11am - 6pm at One Stop Productions 340 North Ogden Chicago, IL. 60607.

Thanks again to everyone who had anything to do with the production of the exhibition!

A NEW FEATURE ADDED to the BEST KEPT SECRETS EXHIBITION....

Artwork from some of the art world's masters will be on display. This includes Rembrandt, Picasso, and Britto to name a few. These pieces of history are being loaned out of an extensive art collector and lover.

This mix of seeing where we came from and its impact on the future will provide an unique and inspirational experience!

Norman Calmese serves as the General/Sales Manager and Illustrator for the Capital City Courier. His cartoons and
illustrations have appeared in newspapers throughout the country. Norman has helped to catapult the local newspaper
to international status. He was commissioned be the State of Illinois to do a portrait of State Senator Cornelius Davis.
