We are deeply saddened by the news of our old friend Todd Mariana’s passing. Though we haven’t been in touch for the past five years, we have many shared memories. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all his friends and family.

Founded in October 2008, JustQualityMusic (JQM) began as a humble initiative in Chicago, aiming to introduce electronic music to a broader audience. With the landscape of FM radio stations offering limited exposure to genres like techno, tech house, deep house, and minimal, we took it upon ourselves to fill this void. We established a 24/7 online radio station dedicated to curating the finest sets from these genres across the globe.

While our roots may have started with an online station, our passion for the music drove us to diversify our approach. Over the years, we've spearheaded numerous projects: from organizing events featuring prominent names in the electronic music scene in cities like Chicago and Washington, DC, to producing podcasts, conducting insightful interviews, and creating a vast digital archive of photos and videos on JustQualityMusic website.

The dedication and authenticity behind our brand, JQM, did not go unnoticed. We've been humbled by the accolades and positive feedback streaming in from every corner of the world, be it the US, Europe, Asia, or Australia. It's always been our priority to deliver unparalleled music experiences to our followers, and their trust in our brand stands testament to our success.

Given our momentum and the increasing demand for quality music, it was only a matter of time before we launched JQM Recordings in 2011. This small record label was our way of presenting our musical discoveries in both digital and vinyl formats. We eagerly looked forward to showcasing both seasoned artists and emerging talents with immense potential.

After relocating multiple times in the early 2010s, we paused our operations in mid-2014. Now, following a 10-year silence, our passion for our musical mission is as strong as ever. We're poised for a resurgence, so stay tuned for the next chapter from JustQualityMusic.
