Its residency at the Whistler in Logan Square takes place the third Thursday of the month with special Satellite Slo 'Mo programs throughout the city. Springtime Sensuality! 🌷WE’RE BACK, BABES. Our beloved all-vinyl day party for q***r fam over 30 returns to with legendary and friends dropping the needle on jams to thaw out to. ☀️

We’ll be soaking up the sun on the roof of the Salt Shed the first weekends in Spring: March 1, April 4 and May 3 twirling to all-vinyl R&B, house, disco and whatever the funk we want because we’re grown! First up Mar 1 our cousin will be joining & on the decks! 🎉

Tickets are available for dates and advance purchase is highly recommended, though there will be a limited number first come, first served at the door.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our Capricorn Queen and Captain of Sonic Experience ! 🎂💓🪩 Hannah has shepherded Slo ‘Mo’s sound for seven years and given us countless joyful, soulfilling, spirit resetting moments with her infectious energy and undeniable love for music. A Chicago girl through and through, she’s a student set on honoring the city and culture that made her not just with Slo ‘Mo but with and as one of the three , who, among many, many other contributions, create the soundtrack for Old Gold.

Hannah, we are rooting for you, babe. Thank you for all the joy and light you bring, especially when things can feel dark; we are so grateful for your spark. Keeping shining. We can’t wait to see where you soar from here. 💫

FINE fine. 🌼 Getting older looks good on you. It’s such a gift to be able to age together as q***r people. So much of the magic of Old Gold is in the mirroring and witnessing of each other’s deepening and everchanging beauty. May these images be a reminder of our spirit and legacy of resilience through music and self expression.

We decided to revive our end of year celebration The Glamorous Life because, simply, we deserve to feel good. If you’re going through it (ie, everyone), let this be a balm for your spirit and opportunity to summon the bad b***h that got you through this decade of a year. We hope our dance floor can be a refuge from the horrors and return to joy and gentleness.

It’s truly a sight to behold watching people commune on the Old Gold dance floor across generations. The energy collectively summoned is simply something you must experience in person. Off your phone, and lost in the music!

We’re reuniting for a special evening edition of Old Gold 12/27 at our fav fancy rooftop with the best view of chicago, . This NYE-ish party is meant to be a more easeful outlet for sending off the year so that you can get to your cabins, gatherings, gigs or just to BED on NYE proper and still celebrate in style. Last year’s The Glamorous Life sold out in advance, and we’re already half sold through advance tix so, you’ve been reminded to get yours…

She’s ba-ack: Old Gold returns for the Glamorous Life, our “New Year’s Eve-ish” celebration where the gay & grown get dressed to the nines and dance away the year together. 🥂🎊 - are pulling out rare and favorite vinyl featuring R&B, disco and house for twirling the night away at the stunning on the roof of . has been on party sabbatical and back in the hostess seat for her favorite soiree of them all. We’re so excited to clink glasses with you and send 2025 off into the city skyline and stars.

Skip the stress of the expensiveness and foolery of New Year’s Eve for a more easeful night on the town on the final weekend of 2025. Last year’s inaugural Glamorous Life sold out, so we highly encourage purchasing tickets early. Early bird tickets are available now for $30, general admission are $35 and very limited door tickets will be available for $40. This party is for our 30+ fam.

Wow, we are so grateful for the love shown this week for Slo ‘Mo. 💐 We are excited for a night of celebration and refueling through joy and connection. We can’t wait to see your costumes, but do not feel pressured; we are happy to have you in any expression that is respectful.

Tickets are available online and at the door. We’re thrilled to welcome .crystal.palace back who will be offering tarot readings and offering portrait drawings! Bring your dollas for the dancers and supportive and graceful energy. We’re all going through some fierce things; let’s be good to each other. 🫂
