Last week was one of the hardest financial weeks of my life. I lost a large part of all the money I had invested in crypto coins. Let me tell you how it happened and the lesson I learned, so you don’t make the same mistake.

I’ve been involved in crypto and NFTs for more than 4 years and thought I knew all the ways scammers try to trick people - but this time, I still fell for one. I clicked on a link that was supposed to be an airdrop claim in a Discord server. I connected my wallet to the fake platform, and my wallet was drained right before my eyes.

It was very obvious that it was a scam, but I guess the devil pushed me to click without thinking because it said something like ‘Only the first 10 people’ I was greedy and didn’t want to miss it. Maybe God allowed this to happen - to test my faith? What happens when I lose it all? Will I still remain faithful without the money He had given me? Is my faith based on material things, and will I still love Him if I have nothing? Maybe this is a lesson to stop chasing money and instead seek wisdom, which is priceless?

I still don’t have the answers to these questions, but I do know that I made a very stupid mistake and learned my lesson!

Life goes on. I’m alive, and that’s the most important thing - even if it sounds cliché!
