It works when it works. But often I hate it too. Your thoughts on the new AI revolution??

Either
We love
Or we hate AI

It finds
Things fast
It helps us fix
And learn
Quickly

It plans trips
Answers
Hard questions
I trust it

And it listens
Well
Talks
to my my head
And my heart
Helps
Without judgement

I hate AI
When I
Can't talk
To a real person
And I scream
Into the phone
Help!

But I know
AI
Like all of life
Is here
For the long haul

And I accept
AI
For life
Moves on
And I will
Move on too...

A bird
Flies
And lands.

A bird chirps
Then sings
And flaps
His wings.

A bird
Is bright
And
Multi colored.

And
A bird
Brings
Happy thoughts
As it flies
And lands.

A bird says
"Hello"
And "goodbye"
In an instant.

Life is short

Love the
Birds
Who bring joy.

Love
The wind
At your back

And know
That if they
Can fly

You can fly

Once a baseball fan/ always a baseball fan! Enjoy my latest poem - written after the win last night and the in person loss last Friday... do they win when you go??

The cubs
Win
The Cubs
Lose
They win
More often
Than they
Lose.

So why
When
I am there
At the game
Cheering
Do they lose
Every game?

And when I am
on my sofa
Passively watching
Do they
Rock the game?

Winning
Is good
Either way.

But I wish
I could
Sing
Go, Cubs, Go
After nine
Instead of
Drowning
The loss
In a beer.

Win and lose-
That's baseball.

That's life
Too.

I like winning
In baseball
And in life.

But whether
I'm at Wrigley
Or on my sofa
Tomorrow
There is
Always
Another game.

Alone
Or together
Single
Or not

A choice
We consider
In our younger years
And our older age

Having
A partner
Or a best friend
Can keep me happy
Or on the mend

It is
Not easy
To be together
Or be alone
We text and email
With our
Always-with- us
Phones.

I was together
For many
Great years
Now I am alone
Since he is gone.

Happy then
Happy now
A choice
In life
To make
And keep
Making

So I choose
Happy
Every day
Happy
For my health
Happy
For my wealth
Happy
For my cat
And my funny
Purple hat

Today
We can be
Happy

Rain
Is good
For the grass
For the plants
And vegetables

And rain

To stop

Slow down
Sit down

A book
Look out
The window

And enjoy."

For this day

To feel

Fully
To give back

One day
I knew
That life
Is short
And shorter
The time
To do
To go
To be

Life
Is not when
Is not then
Is now

For when
May never
Be

We wait
And consider
And

My life

HOSPITALS
Are scary
May mean
You
Are
Sick
May mean
Something bad

Or
Hospitals
May bring
Good news
We found
Nothing wrong

Either way
Hospitals
Take hours
Of our time
Waiting
Worrying
Not knowing

Tests
And tubes
Pokes
And scans
Hooked up
To Machines

Hospitals
Can heal
Can frighten
Can answer questions
Or leave us
Waiting still

But thank
Goodness
When
We need them

Hospitals
are there
