Young ladies, you have the world by the tail. Many people fought hard during the last 4 generations to ensure you could be whatever you want. There are places around the world that don't like it, people that would treat you worse now than ever in our nation's history.
With this great opportunity, comes great responsibility. If you choose to blaze trails for the rest of women, do it with honor, pride, and accountability. Many women want the power and respect but don't see the pain and sacrifice it takes to get there. Since you chose a reverse-traditional role, I hope you marry a man that did too, your kids deserve it.
Don't look down on a traditional role as less than you deserve. Many women are heartbroken nowadays because that life is nearly unobtainable to them. There's a very satisfying and fulfilling feeling in being there for your kids and husband everyday. Kids need a parent always available to them. A career driven spouse needs someone in their corner everyday when they get home.
I know many of you were brought up with the idea of inequality and ideas like the glass ceiling. I know many of you feel disadvantaged and feel like you are naturally in competition with men. I'm not going to say you're wrong, I don't know what it is like to be a woman, no man does. I will say, focus on what advantages you naturally have. Your potential is inflated due to equity programs and mentality. You have the ability to profit heavily off modeling, entertainment, and sales in ways men will never be able to. You'll always be given more sympathy, support, and tolerance.
Be the woman you want to be, take pride in the life you choose. Don't turn your nose up at being a Homemaker, it's a beautiful fulfilling life. Remember to treat men well, many aren't used to it anymore.
