Grateful. Humbled. Motivated.
This week, I celebrate a significant milestone: at 22 years old, I’ve officially closed on my first 10 unit commercial real estate property. This journey has been anything but easy. What started as an idea almost exactly a year ago evolved into countless hours of brainstorming, strategizing, and planning with my partners. It meant months of property hunting, losing a deal, pivoting strategies, and navigating every hurdle. We faced adversities throughout the entire process, and even the day before closing. Three months ago, the golden goose of opportunities landed in our laps. With a good strategy, determination, resilience, and most importantly belief in ourselves, we overcame adversity every step of the way, right up to closing day.
I want to thank the Man above for guiding me every step of the way. My family, who has supported me endlessly, my amazing girlfriend, incredible partners, friends, and every single person I’ve crossed paths with—whether in person or through an Instagram DM— the wisdom you shed, time shared and belief in my vision have curated this moment. As I quoted Steve Jobs in one of my recent post, “You cannot connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking back.” I look back on this moment and think, I wouldn’t be here without you.
Now, just a week into 2025, I’m proud to share this achievement. This isn’t just a win for me, but for every single person who’s contributed to this journey.
To anyone pursuing your dreams, especially when facing challenges, let this be your reminder: with a plan, a little creativity, a whole lot of discipline, and a most importantly belief, you CAN achieve whatever you set your mind to. As the sign above my head ironically says: “Believe if yourself, you ARE stronger than you think.” And as etched in my forearm, I encourage you to “enjoy the journey.”
