Happy birthday 🎂 uncle Sidney P. Brown -He earned his B.A. at Howard University in Washington, D.C. and went on to earn his law degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, in 1922.

Brown was part of the then, “Colored” intelligentsia, contributing to early developments in the Black metropolis known as Bronzeville, on Chicago’s Southside.

This commemorative, BHM post is being made on what would have been Sidney P. Brown’s 131st birthday. Born February 14, 1894, he transitioned to ancestry, May 19, 1894.
