Honoring the Ancestors, Empowering the Future. 🌍🤝

On this International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, we come together to amplify indigenous voices and the essential wisdom they hold. Today, I stand as a bridge, looking forward to the future while being guided by the generations who came before me.

My great-great-grandfather’s spirit (seen in the moon) watchfully guides me, reminding me of our deep connections to holistic healthcare, community preservation, and ancestral wellness. 🌿✨ His legacy of connection to the land and tradition fuels our vision for a more sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future for all.

Indigenous knowledge is not just a relic of the past; it is a vital tool for solving the complex challenges of the 21st century. By integrating modern innovation with ancient wisdom, we can create solutions that are truly sustainable, respecting both our planet and our communities.

Let us commit today, and every day, to:
Respect and elevate Indigenous voices.
Support the preservation of Indigenous cultures and languages.
Learn from ancestral sustainability and wellness practices.
We are all connected. Let's grow together, fueled by tradition and aimed at innovation.

Did you know that 80% of people living with viral hepatitis lack access to screening services? 🌍
This World Hepatitis Day (July 28), we’re breaking down the barriers to community wellness. With over 354 million people living with Hepatitis B or C globally, education, early detection, and vaccination are our strongest tools to save lives and protect our families.
Why action matters:
✨ Early screening catches viral hepatitis before liver damage occurs.
🛡️ The Hepatitis B vaccine is 95% effective in preventing infection.
🤝 Community clinics expand vital healthcare access to underserved populations.
Getting screened and vaccinated doesn't just protect you—it breaks the chain of transmission for everyone. Let’s prioritize our collective health.

Let’s demystify modern HIV preventative care. ✨
Taking control of your sexual health is a routine, empowering part of full-body wellness—no judgment, just modern science doing its job to keep you safe and thriving. If you've been confused about the difference between PrEP and PEP.

🛡️ PrEP vs. PEP: What’s the Difference?
PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis): For Daily Protection
What it is: A proactive, ongoing medication for individuals who are currently HIV-negative.
How it works: Available as a once-daily pill or a discreet injection given every two months by a healthcare provider. When taken as directed, it is up to 99% effective at preventing HIV.

PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis): For Emergencies

What it is: An emergency medication taken after a potential exposure to HIV (such as a broken condom or sharing needles).
How it works: It must be started within 72 hours of exposure and is taken daily for 28 days to stop the virus from taking hold.
💬 Take Action For Your Health
Routine sexual health screenings aren't a big deal—they are just a normal part of looking out for yourself and your partners. Most major insurance plans and Medicaid cover PrEP, and local clinics have funding programs to ensure cost is never a barrier to staying safe.

Celebrate, Validate, and Support Non-Binary Individuals in Healthcare 💛🤍💜🖤
Today is International Non-Binary People’s Day! To celebrate, we are diving into what it means to be non-binary, how intersectionality shapes the wellness journey, and how healthcare providers and allies can make medical spaces truly inclusive—starting with something as simple as proper pronoun usage.
Too often, non-binary individuals face barriers, misconceptions, and anxiety when seeking basic care. Creating safe, trauma-informed spaces isn't just about checkboxes—it's a critical component of equitable, intersectional wellness.
👉 Swipe through to learn how we can all foster more supportive environments.
What is one way you practice inclusivity in your daily life or workspace? Let’s share ideas below! 👇

🌟 July 1st marks the start of BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month. 🧡 For Anton X Industries LLC, this is a cornerstone of our work.
Across Illinois, from Chicago's South Side to Springfield and beyond, a major barrier to mental wellness for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities is the cultural stigma surrounding asking for support. It is a myth that strength means suffering in silence.
We can break these generational stigmas by showing up for one another and normalizing help-seeking behaviors. True strength is vulnerability. True resilience is community care.
🔗 This month, we are focusing on connecting Illinois residents with resources that are both culturally competent and accessible. We have curated a list of mental health organizations, providers, and support groups serving Chicagoland and the entire state.
[Check the link in our bio for the full, localized Illinois resource list!]
👇 Share this post and help us break the silence. Who is a BIPOC mental health hero or local resource you admire? Tag them!
