JDM Fine Art Artist My path to oil painting began in the 4th grade at a little Frame Shop in my childhood town. This is where my talent and love of oil painting took flight.

I work mainly with nature and take a realistic look with a contemporary feel to my work. All of my pieces are unique and my personal view of the world around me. I enjoy texture and layering with many of my pieces taking over a year to complete. To create memorable artwork is a honor I don’t take lightly and I am humbled by on a regular basis. This is wonderful news!!! I an so happy this painting is going to a wonderful home. The painting was inspired by a photograph taken by a good friend that had a love for life and family. She took the photo on one of her many nightly walks in my neighborhood.

Bokeh bookmarks. Was playing with metallic paints and practicing the effects. Bookmarks are a fun and fantastic way for me to do this.
