Hi ladies! I am partnering with the organization Keeping ME In Mind as the paint party instructor for this event on 8/15! Keeping ME in Mind 💞💕 is geared towards African American mothers (and women in general) to encourage them to take time for their mental and emotional well-being. Along with painting, there will also be food included and a social component. All information, including payment info is on the flyer. I had a wonderful time this afternoon painting with the teens from The Bridge Teen Center The Bridge Teen Center at Lake Katherine Nature Center in Palos Heights! We focused on choosing a scene and choosing a focal point by zooming in and cropping our compositions. It was a rainy day, but the kids were able to make some really great paintings in nature! What a beautiful place. 🌳 I definitely want to check it out again when it's more dry and sunny outside. And as always, thank you to The Bridge for the Bombas socks! 🥰

It's always a great time when I get to paint with my Sorors! 🔺🐘🤍❤️ Thank you to the Spec N'em group for coming to Paintin & Poppin's studio yesterday for a day of fun, fellowship, and of course CREATIVITY! A wonderful time was had this past Friday night! We held a bridal paint party for Ms. Lauren to celebrate her upcoming nuptials! These were such fun images to paint and I just love how everyone's painting came out so creative and unique! 🤍👰🏾‍♀️🎨🖌️

This past weekend, I led painting workshops at Thornwood High School for their Mental Health and Wellness Fair! We painted the Chicago Skyline and also did some freestyle paintings. Students and adults who visited the Paintin & Poppin station had a great time!
