Our goal is to build a vibrant Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Rueda community in Cheyenne WY, where everyone is noticed and welcomed. With a solid foundation of the basics, rhythm and musicality, you will be able to dance in any city in the world, and we will host teachers and dancers from other cities.
1. Listen to the music! Follow the music because the energy and connection with your partner is thr
ough the music.
3. Learn by coming to classes and stay to dance after class.
4. Don't stress if you get frustrated sometimes. Growth comes from pushing our comfort zones.
5. We are all doing the learning experience together, let's celebrate and encourage one another like a family.
6. With practice you will improve, and more people will seek to dance with you.
7. Come to our events (parties) and dance.
8. Respect one another and never make anyone feel uncomfortable. Zero tolerance for bad behavior. Please tell the instructors and/or hosts if something is not right so they address it quickly.
9. If you are sick with a cold/flu then rather stay away until you are better so that you don't spread to others.
10. If you feel pain or injury then please ask an instructor/organizer for assistance.
11. We celebrate everyone's birthday with a birthday dance, so please make sure we have your name and birthday.
12. Come to class, be consistent, that's how we all learn. Occasionally we will carpool to some salsa dance events in FOCO. We will announce and chat about these as we wrap up at the end of classes. We are a volunteer organization and help is appreciated. If you would like to pitch-in and help with social media, take pictures, sound, DJ the music, etc. then please speak to Terry 307-920-3094.
