Thankful for every evening spent at the beach this summer☀️🌊 and for every family who ran, splashed, and giggled their way through a session.

We all end up a little sandy and sweaty but with the best memories!

It’s literally 100 degrees in Virginia Beach right now. This sweet mom wanted to document their growing family, but packing up a baby and a toddler for an after bedtime photo session was just not in the cards. Instead, I came to them with a trunk full of:

🤍The sweetest outfits from my client closet
🤍 blanket
🤍 picnic basket with flowers
🤍Wooden toys
🤍Pinwheels

A relaxed (though still sweaty) morning session at home was just perfect.

Memories in their first home preserved, complete with sweet girl snacking on grapes grown in their backyard. As a military family with moves in the future, it’s extra special.

I love creating an experience for my clients that fits *them*. While I still adore a good golden hour field session, what matters most is creating images that feel like you!

There’s no wrong time to photograph your new baby- you aren’t “too late” if you miss the 7-14 day sweet spot where there extra sleepy and curled up.

This sweet girl is 4 weeks old and even though she wasn’t interested in sleeping, the way she looked at her mom in the first photo made all the shushing and swaying worth it 🥹

So much love for these adorable pool photos, so I’m opening up two spots for SUMMER SPLASH SESSIONS! 💦

My friend has graciously offered to host in her gorgeous backyard! Floats, towels and props pictured are included, so all you have to do is show up in your suits ready to splash!

My camera roll is filled with so many gorgeous images from the last month that I can’t wait to share!

Beautifully styled sessions with the dreamiest locations from the retreat in Charleston, long-awaited and emotional military reunions, sweet and playful motherhood studio sessions…all of which have made me fall in love with my job all over again. So so thankful that this is what I get to do!

That being said- if anyone has a stunning historical estate in Hampton Roads and you want family photos, I’m your girl!
