We love being a part of Chesapeake Rotary and making a difference in our community!
What does the Chesapeake Rotary Club actually do?
Most people know us from events like the First Citizen Banquet, Chesapeake Wine Festival, Galentine's Gala, or the Spring Arts Show. Those events are an important part of what we do—but they're only part of the story.
Outside of our big events is a hands-on team of volunteers packing lunches for food-insecure students, cleaning up local parks, reading to children in our schools, and working together to make Chesapeake a better place to live.
As part of Rotary International, we believe that lasting change happens one community at a time through service, generosity, and leadership.
When you attend the First Citizen Banquet or become a sponsor, you're helping make that work possible.
And remember: Our events may last one day, but the work they support continues all year long.
