Here at DnJ’s, we deeply apologize for our lack of updates for our followers. There was a lot of yard work and gardening to be done after being away for the Indy 500. Then Doc managed to screw up his back in the garden Sunday.

Doc and Joseph managed to get in 3 games of Gundam Card Game this afternoon. We also were able to use our Barad-Dur dice tower that came with our LotR: Fate of the Fellowship game from our great friends at Gear Gaming Birmingham. We had a blast just having “roll offs” with the dice tower. Too much fun ❤️❤️❤️

Doc should be back with the brushes and paints by this weekend. The Sword Strike Gundam was supposed to be finished Sunday night 😞

We haven’t exactly had a lot of time to get some progress in on the Sword Strike Gundam, however, we’ve gotten a bit more done.

Had the chance to run by our FLGS Gear Gaming Birmingham to grab some airbrush supplies, the brand new Monument Hobbies 1-Step paints and new PRO Sable brushes, and we picked up a game we’ve been dying to play … The Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship. The reviews we’ve seen for Fate of the Fellowship have been super good, sooooo … we had to give it a go (ok, they had us at Lord of the Rings 🤣🤣🤣).

The brand new Monument Hobbies 1-Step paints are now in stock at our most favorite of shops, Gear Gaming Birmingham.

We’ve been considering trying these 1-Step paints, but not like y’all may think. We’ve found that such paints as 1-Step can make for excellent glazing paints.

We made some good progress on the Sword Strike after finishing up the Zaku II. We will not be finished with the Sword Strike for at least 2 weeks, as DnJ’s makes the first of 3 trips to Indianapolis this week. We heard there is a little race going on up there 😎
