✨✨WOW✨✨ Is all I can say about yesterday's visit at the Pitch Haus with Soaring Arts Studio, my most important collaborators on the Seat at the Table project. How WONDERFUL to have everyone experience the FULL CIRCLE of our engagement together. THIS is one of the many reasons why public art engagement is SO personally important for me and also for the health of all our communities. ❤️

✨BEAUTIFUL✨ Opening day of Pitch Haus and A Seat at the Table at Chelsea State Bank! Soaring Arts Studio brought face painting and live painting and a drum circle and balloon animals! Studio Be brought tasty muffins from Delishability. The day was made extra special thanks to support from Lianna Naebeck - Reinhart Realtors and volunteers from Chelsea Area Friends for Recreation. ✨PITCH HAUS✨ has landed! It was so great to be able to welcome the Pitch Haus to its first stop on tour this summer with Michael and Melinda and then to begin to set-up this experience with our collaborators at Soaring Arts Studio today! We can't wait to welcome everyone to the exhibit over the next two weeks!

We are SO EXCITED for the arrival of the PITCH HAUS container TODAY! and the CommuniTEA party with our friends at ✨✨AMAZING✨✨ collaborators at Soaring Arts Studio!

Over the last couple of months, we’ve gotten the opportunity and joy to work with Moxie Works Studio and Curiouser Clay to be a part of the “Seat at the Table” Project!

Well, we are feeling excited, because the two weeks of celebration and festivities are getting ready to begin!!!!!!!!!!

We’d love to invite all of our friends and local community to come to Chelsea to experience the magic of this event! Come, see the exhibit, sit at the table and be a part of a beautiful mosaic of community stories and art! There are also tons of amazing classes to sign up for, most taught by our friend and fellow-artist, Eli Zemper! (Each are happening on-site during the course of the project, and there is a QR Code to register on the event poster.)
It’s a little bit of a ride, but it’s also a beautiful drive, and the destination/experience will be worth it!

ALSO EXTRA BONUS:
On SATURDAY 6/13, for the opening day, several Soaring Artists will be be there for both of the “CommunitiTEA Parties!” We are ready to celebrate!

*Derrick (The Twisted Jokester) will be doing balloons!
*Sam and Mary will be on-site doing live art!
*Amanda Goheen and Donna will be doing face-painting! !
*Tara and Tonya will be leading a drum circle!

This is such a beautiful project that it can’t be explained fully in words or even pictures, so we’d love to have you join us….at the table!
