🍂 Fall Open House is almost here! 🍂

I’ve been busy putting the finishing touches on some new creations for Crafter’s Emporium’s Fall Open House, and the fall vibes are officially taking over my crochet corner! 🧶🎃

From spooky-season goodies and cozy beanies to some adorable new plushies, I’ll have plenty of handmade treasures ready and waiting. 🖤🍬🍓

Come out this Saturday, August 29th from 10 AM–7 PM and support Calypso Crochet Creations along with all of the other amazing local vendors at Crafter’s Emporium! There will also be food trucks, raffle baskets, and a bake sale throughout the day.

Sometimes crochet has other plans.

I set out to make a corn dog. The yarn had different ideas and created what looks suspiciously like a chicken drumstick instead. 🍗

Before I could decide whether to frog it or fix it, Zoey claimed it as her newest treasure. So I guess this crochet “failure” is officially a success. 💕

Does anyone else end up with surprise creations when they’re crafting?

Using my dance mom time today to work on a blanket that’s currently living rent-free in my head. 🧶💃

I’m trying out this gorgeous color combination suggested by Black Rose Stitches, and I am absolutely in love with how it’s coming together. The soft peachy-pinks paired with that dusty teal border are giving all the cozy summer vibes. ✨

Now excuse me while I turn “just one more granny square” into an entire afternoon. 😆
