WAYS TO TELL IF A GROWN MAN IS CRYING ON THE INSIDE

Not all tears are visible.

Sometimes a man is smiling, working, providing, and showing up for everyone around him while silently fighting battles no one knows about.

He may become distant, easily frustrated, emotionally withdrawn, or constantly busy just to avoid dealing with what he’s feeling.

Some men have been taught since childhood to be strong, hold everything together, and never let anyone see them break.

But even the strongest man needs a safe place to be vulnerable.

Men hurt. Men struggle. Men need healing, too.

Check on the men in your life. Your father, husband, brother, son, or friend may be carrying more than you realize.

And to every man who is silently hurting: You don’t have to carry it all alone.

Strength doesn’t require silence.

Through Big Boys Do Cry, we’re raising awareness about men’s mental and emotional health and encouraging conversations that can lead to understanding, support, and healing.

Follow this page for more conversations about emotional wellness, relationships, forgiveness, and healing.

Let’s talk about it: Why do you think so many men struggle to express their emotional pain?

How do you know when you’ve truly forgiven someone if you’re still hurting and healing from what they did?

Does forgiveness mean the pain is gone, or can you genuinely forgive someone while you’re still healing from the damage they caused?

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

💔 Can we have a real conversation?

Two people end relationships and leave someone heartbroken.

One person cheated, lied, manipulated and handled the breakup in a toxic and hurtful way.

The other person didn’t cheat or play games. They simply realized they had outgrown the relationship, were honest about it, and respectfully chose to move on.

In both situations, someone was left devastated. ❤️‍🩹

So here’s my question: Do BOTH people have karma coming because they broke someone’s heart? Or does intention and how you treated the person make a difference?

👇🏽 I want to hear what you think.

✨ Can we have a real conversation? ✨

Sometimes forgiving other people is easier than forgiving ourselves. 💭❤️

We replay the decisions we made, the things we tolerated, the opportunities we missed, or the times we knew better but still made the wrong choice.

But healing sometimes requires saying, “I forgive me too.” 🙏🏽

So today’s question is:

💛 What is something you had to forgive yourself for?

You don’t have to share anything you’re uncomfortable sharing, but if you’re willing, let’s talk in the comments. Your story may help someone else realize they’re not alone. 🤎
