Ava! 🎓🥳 Ms. Zanitsch plans to continue her musical career at the University of Miami with a major in Music Engineering Technology, participating in university ensembles, and continuing private bassoon lessons.

“My favorite part about my time with the YOC is getting to play challenging music that I wouldn’t get to play with a band or ensemble otherwise. Getting to play the music selected at YOC has been an amazing challenge and allowed me to better myself as a musician.”

Congrats, Ava! We can’t wait to see how you much grow in college! 🎓🎉🎶

Next up: Tessa Jackson 🎶 Tessa said it all about her next chapter:

“After high school, I intend to continue my music studies at The Juilliard School, pursuing a BM in Harp Performance. My hope is to build a professional career in music, and I believe the YOC has played an important role in preparing me for that path. Through my experience in the Preparatory Orchestra and the YOC, I have grown in confidence performing in an ensemble and have enjoyed learning a wide range of orchestral repertoire. These experiences have helped prepare me for my future studies and career, and I am extremely grateful for them.“

We are proud to have been a part of your musical career, Tessa. Have fun at Julliard!! 🎓🥳

Caiden! 🥳 Our wonderful French horn player is heading to Appalachian State to pursue a degree in Music Education.

“My YOC memories are those that I shared with the other members of my section. Whether it be messing around at rehearsal or nailing difficult excerpts together, we were inseparable throughout this season of YOC. Additionally, they went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome during my first season, which I am incredibly grateful for.”

We have loved having you in our ensemble, Caiden. Best of luck at App State! 🎉
