Please join us in congratulating our Emerging Leaders Class of 2025-26!

Participants were celebrated last night during a special end of year banquet at Foundation For The Carolinas!

This school year, we welcomed 55 extraordinary high school juniors and seniors representing 32 high schools across the region. They each served on one of five committees - Community Connections, Social Networking, Yearbook Planning, Video Retrospective, or Event Planning - gaining hands-on experience in communication, leadership, storytelling, philanthropy and MORE!

They also had many opportunities to connect with arts professionals and explore how to build an arts-centered future, whatever their career path may be. And of course, they got to train as ushers in our beautiful venues, volunteering 3,000+ hours!

Two Spirit of Service Scholarship recipients were selected and awarded at the banquet. CONGRATS to graduation seniors Bailey Carrozzo, who will be attending NC State in the fall, and Kendrick Wells, who is auditioning for the Theatre Gap Initiative! In addition to a $2,500 scholarship, both will also serve as award-bearers at this year’s The Blumey Awards ceremony!
