Our Story

I grew up surrounded by bountiful gardens and phenomenal women that cooked with their hearts as well as their hands. In 2013, Full Plate Kitchen, an online healthy prepared meal service, grew out of that same passion to provide nourishing, real food options to busy professionals and families with active lives.

We provided fresh quiche and breakfast burritos, made from local ingredients, to Saturday morning patrons at the Foothills Farmers’ Market. Full Plate Kitchen made healthy boxed lunches and delivered to area businesses, the local Chamber, schools, hospitals, sports teams at Gardner Webb University and even the Health Department. Growing from one location to two, Full Plate Kitchen helped Shelby, NC eat healthier.

At the end of 2016, we evolved into Full Plate Personal Chef services, continuing to provide real food to families in their homes for a truly personal experience. More than one client has mentioned that Full Plate Personal Chef Services saved their marriage. No more stress about what’s for dinner and who is going back out in search of something that probably won’t be healthy for them or their family.
