45 years ago this month, in September 1981, the legendary arcade shooter Galaga was unleashed in Japan!

From the iconic dual-fighter trick to those relentless tractor beams, this game swallowed countless quarters and completely defined a generation of gaming. Whether you were playing at the local arcade, a pizza parlor, or a bowling alley, there was nothing quite like hearing those 8-bit sound effects firing up.

Galaga was second in a series of 3 games, Galaxian preceded Galaga and Galipus or Galaga 3 was released 3 years later. Have you ever played Galipus? It is pretty rare.

Today marks the 35th anniversary of the release of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in North America on August 23, 1991. It was a huge jump in graphics capability from the original Nintendo Entertainment System and introduced a revolutionary controller design that included 4 main buttons and two shoulder buttons that remain today on modern game controllers.

Sundays tournament was a lot of fun. We had 16 players battling it out through 8 rounds. The final results were:
1st: Luis Cortes
2nd: Ben Downing
3rd: Kate Lavender

Trophies and Prizes were awarded to the top 3 players
Thanks to everyone that came out for the event and a special thanks to Brian Fraley to helped to coordinate the event.

The position is part-time, about 15 hours per week
Duties include:
cashier duties
checking customers in
concession sales along with light food prep.
general facility maintenance

Candidate must be able to work independently and be comfortable opening and closing on their own
