We are not going to sit on this.
Creative Safe Spaces has been nominated for the Quickbooks & Mailchimp Small Business Hero Program. A $20,000 grant awarded to small businesses showing courage, integrity, and community impact.

We cannot nominate ourselves. Our community has to do it. And the deadline is May 15.

We are inside all the way in the back and I just wanna give you a little tour of our set up for today’s community event. We have absolutely amazing raffle basket for every participant. We also have items for sale great conversation and the Mom community out here. Whether you are bringing a mother to make a hug shirt for her , making a sugar scrub for your mom, getting a self-care kit for your auntie making it forever rose for grandma…we got it all out here till 6 PM. At 6 PM we will announce our raffle winner. Every ticket is an entry to the raffle. If you like and share the story before you get here or while you’re here you’ll get a double entry. How about that? This is one of the incredible staff members from Pauline’s and in this moment I was letting her know she needs to be on the new interview series.

Spiritually Creative is coming.
A short-form interview series hosted by Tamika Bell for the people already living at the intersection of art, science, and spirit, whether they have named it that or not.

The nail tech in a flow state. The chef whose kitchen is a prayer. The coder whose first line of logic was a divine idea before it was ever a program.

We are building the guest list now. Interviews go in the order we receive them. Vision has to align.

Mother’s Day is May 9. We are creating an experience and we want you there.

Sugar Scrubs & 4ever Hugs is a curated Mother’s Day wellness experience curated by Creative Safe Spaces at The Market at 7th Street in Charlotte. This is not a brunch. This is not a spa day. This is an intentional, creative wellness experience designed to make the women in your life feel genuinely seen and celebrated.

Here is what I need people to understand about why this event exists.The free Open Air Creative Reset series that Creative Safe Spaces runs in the community does not sustain itself on grant funding alone. Paid signature events like this one are what make the free work possible.

Every ticket purchased on May 9 is a direct investment in community programming that asks nothing of the people who need it most. That is the model. That is the mission.
Tickets start at $50. Three tiers available. Every single ticket includes a raffle entry for a curated gift basket featuring Assorted Table, It’s Poppin Popcorn, Darling Tea, and more. Additional raffle tickets available at the event. Winner drawn at 6PM.
