This post is going to be a little different than our normal content.

Honestly, I never wanted to have to make it.

Over the last several months, I have spent countless hours creating custom mockups — mostly banners, but also custom photo shirts and other designs — only to later see those exact designs recreated by another business after I provided the mockup free of charge.

If you’ve ever worked with me, you know how much heart I pour into what I do. I’ve never charged for mockups. I’ve never required deposits. I spend hours going back and forth making edits, tweaking details, and trying to bring your exact vision to life. Truthfully, the mockup process IS a huge part of the work.

And for someone balancing all of this while also working a 50+ hour full-time job… that time matters.

I have always tried to operate with integrity. I have turned down jobs because I refuse to copy another artist’s work. I’ve adjusted designs specifically to avoid recreating someone else’s creation.

So this post is simply to set a boundary moving forward.

Mockups and custom designs created by Jady Creates are original artwork. They are not to be taken and recreated elsewhere without permission. That includes sending my mockups to another business or individual to reproduce.

If you love my design work but need someone else to physically make the item, that’s okay — just talk to me. I would gladly discuss selling the mockup/design file itself.

But taking someone’s artwork without permission is not okay. At the end of the day, that artwork is part of how small creators provide for their families.

I appreciate every single person who continues to support Jady Creates the right way. It truly means more than you know. ❤️

Memorial Day is a difficult day for many.
Yes, it’s considered a holiday… but for countless families, it isn’t a happy one.

Memorial Day is for the service members who never made it home. The men and women who left everything behind to serve this country and paid the ultimate price.

It’s a day to remember the fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, and friends whose chairs now sit empty.

While many are enjoying cookouts and long weekends, others are visiting cemeteries, holding folded flags, and grieving people they would give anything to hug one more time.

Today is about remembrance. 🇺🇸
May we never forget the sacrifices made for the freedoms we often take for granted.
