We are so thrilled to be a recipient of a Leon Levy COVID Relief Fund Grant! Thank you, Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York, for investing in NPTC and helping to ensure we have a future after the past year and a half. We are grateful for our theatre community and our friends at ART NY!

Repost from : We are thrilled to announce the recipients of the Leon Levy Foundation COVID Relief Fund. The creation of the Leon Levy Foundation COVID Relief Fund is named to honor the Leon Levy Foundation’s vision and commitment to supporting the arts in New York City. Through the Foundation’s support and with additional funding from the Edith Lutyens and Norman Bel Geddes Foundation, the Seth Sprague Foundation, and individual supporters, the Leon Levy Foundation COVID Relief Fund distributed $370,000 in emergency funding to 121 small theatres with annual budgets under $250k based in or primarily producing in New York City. Here at A.R.T/New York, we want to ensure that the theatre field is thriving and continuously being seeded. We do this by removing barriers to access & funding. The necessity of that goal was brought on by the economic strain from the COVID-19 pandemic. With the help of the wonderful supporters above, we were able to award the most members under one funding program than what we have done before in A.R.T./New York's history! It is with great honor & pride that we announce the following 121 recipients of the fund in 2021! 🎊

If we do math, that means the Nerve family helped redistributed 1,389 pounds of food to the food insecure of NYC. ⁣

Thank you to everyone who came out last night! With ticket sales and our generous match donor, we raised $244.50 for City Harvest!!! That rescues and delivers 679 pounds of food! ⠀

We are so thrilled to announce that 50% of ticket sales from our Christmas event, Nerve, Actually, will be donated to City Harvest.
⁣
City Harvest rescues surplus food and delivers it to soup kitchens, food pantries, and other community partners to feed the food insecure of NYC. Just $36 rescues 100lbs of nutritious food to be redistributed to those in need. ⁣
