The pumpkin production over the past 10 years has dwindled… they are bulky, 💩 margins, cumbersome in the study, awkward to paint. But goodness do I love them. 🥰 They just make me so happy!
So I’ve painted 2 this year… maybe I’ll paint more. But I doubt it. 🤪

So if you are interested in 1 or both, comment and I’ll send you details. And feel free to like and comment if you just like them. It sure would make my day. 😉 Xoxo

9in, glossed and will last forever, durable, light weight and be used year after year. Each pumpkin is signed.

⛵️Sailing, takes me away…

Summer was good to us. Family, slowing down, and a whole lot less worrying about the algorithm. And honestly? I liked it.

But Labor Day came and suddenly summer feels… over. So I walked back into the studio today, stared at some blank walls, and started dreaming again.

Creating what brings me joy. Posting when I post. Making new things just because I want to.

We shall see. Cheers to “Fall”

🙏🏼A Prayer for the School Year🙏🏼

Heavenly Father,

As our children begin a new school year, we place them in Your loving hands.

Go before them into every classroom, every hallway, every practice, every new friendship and every unfamiliar moment. Protect their hearts, their minds, and their bodies. Surround them with kind people, wise teachers, good friends, and adults who see them, encourage them, and love them well.

Give them courage when they feel nervous, confidence when they feel unsure, and kindness when they have the opportunity to make someone else feel seen.

And most of all, help us as parents remember that our children are Yours before they are ours. You created them, You know them completely, and You love them more deeply than we ever could. Remind them that they are wonderfully made, deeply loved, and never alone.

May they walk into this school year knowing who they are and Whose they are.

Protect them. Guide them. Grow them. And let this be a year filled with joy, friendship, learning, courage, and moments that remind them of Your goodness.

We trust You with our babies, Lord.
Today and every day.

Amen

Story time… 💙🌊🎨

Before this trip, Jeff actually suggested I not bring my paints.

We were only in the Bahamas for one week instead of our usual two, and creating a full collection is incredible… but it’s also a huge commitment. As inspiring as the view is, painting means hours away from the beach, the family, and the moments that make these trips so special.

So instead, I packed the tiniest watercolor palette I could find.

No pressure.
No expectations.
Just something to play with if the time felt right.

Here’s the funny part…

I’ve never really painted with watercolors before. 😂 There was definitely a learning curve, but I completely fell in love with them.

The way the colors move. The way the water does half the work. It feels less like controlling the paint and more like dancing with it.

What I loved most wasn’t just discovering a new medium, it was that Carson and Davis painted with me almost every single day. It became something we shared instead of something that pulled me away from them.

Sometimes the best inspiration comes from changing your plans instead of forcing them.

I thought I was leaving my “real” painting behind for a week, but instead I found something completely new. Something that feels fresh, joyful, and full of possibility.

Now I can’t stop wondering where these little paintings might lead…

As I’ve had the great honor of painting Bibles for confirmations and graduation gifts this season, it’s never lost on me the impact this Book and the people surrounding these students will have on their lives.

As Christians, we are called to share the Gospel and love others well. Our pastor shared a powerful message this weekend about leaving a generational legacy loving on the next generation, encouraging them, pointing them toward Jesus, and speaking life over what’s next and what’s to come.

These milestone moments like confirmation and graduation are more than celebrations. They are opportunities to remind someone who they are, whose they are, and that they are never walking alone.

May we be people who shape, encourage, and faithfully pour into the next generation.

Some days this 🎨 art journey feels heavy with the algorithms, comparing your talents to “likes”….the doubt, imposter syndrome, the quiet ups and downs of creating alone. But then I remember… this is what I prayed for.

I get to create. I get to pour joy, color, meaning, and heart into something that becomes part of someone else’s story. What a gift that is. The journey is messy, but it’s beautiful, stretching, humbling, and full of purpose. So here’s your reminder (and mine): keep going. 💛

A message from my sweet client that meant the world to me:

“Amy, the painting came today. It left me speechless. It’s absolutely stunning and means so much to me. Thank you for sharing your talents with me. I’m so blessed beyond measure.”

Grateful beyond words for every person who trusts me with their story, their home, and their heart through art.

The craziness of May is in full swing!!! But in the midst of it all… I can’t help but be grateful. This is what we’ve prayed for. Full and busy hearts. And with any season this will all be so fleeting and over before we can complain about the weather being so hot. 🥵

🖼️These sweet minis are being given to say thank you for being such angels!! 👼
