Anything but predictable, The Bluestocking R***e is smarter than your average burlesque, lampooning not only their own geeky selves, but sending up social norms and pop culture as the audience is left with nerd degree burns!

burlesque performers of all styles, from classic and sultry, to humorous, to avant garde. Most burlesque acts have st******se as a component, although the extent of the reveal is determined by the performer's comfort level and venue requirements.

* Sideshow: The Bluestocking R***e is proud to consider much of its cast "human oddities." Although the show is new, cofounders Nicolette Tesla and T**s McGee are no strangers to the stage. McGee have both headlined for successful local troupe Big Mamma's House of Burlesque. Their performances throughout the Southeast have included guest slots with Purrrlesque (Greensboro), The Delinquent Debutantes (Nashville), Big City Burlesque (Atlanta), Mon Cherie's Rockabilly Lounge (Atlanta), and Syrens of the South (Atlanta); during the immensely popular festivals Frolicon, Heavy Rebel Weekender, Greensboro's Fringe Festival, and at CarnEvil. The pair maintains strong connections with the best performers in the Southeast.
