Hello my Crafty Crows! It's that time of year! For our 1 year new location anniversary/Touch, Tea, Tarot event our full scale hat workshop is back!

Pre-purchasing/reserving your hat is recommended (last year we sold out). Inventory will be arriving next week.

This workshop is available for $30 at the Baraboo Vintage and Seek Boutique Makers Station

(Reservations for private workshops are available upon request!)

Sometimes lovely humans bring their art and craft skills to the Makers' Station to socialize and be a part of our little shop community. This amazing pillow was hand stitched at our table, incorporating materials purchased in the shop.

You are always welcome to sit down and join us, with or without a project! Community is great.

Witches Dance is coming soon and a bonus performance has been added to the schedule! We Want you. Follow Baraboo Vintage and Seek Boutique for more information regarding the rehearsal schedule.

In addition to our annual dance on the courthouse lawn, we have been approved to perform at A Gathering of Rogues & Ruffians - A Renaissance Faire . My Snapdragons & Sage booth will continue to serve whimsical wares and a Makers' Station activity, but it will also serve as Witches Dance HQ for those seeking information about the downtown event as well as a gathering space for those who plan to join us for performing. All ages and genders are welcome!

Oh, man! Whoever painted this set did an amazing job!

The momentum is building...the Zona Gale Young People’s Theatre will be bringing the 1899 newsboy strike to life with NEWSIES THE MUSICAL, opening this Friday Aug 7! (Our Resident Lighting Designer has some pretty cool tricks up her sleeve!)

Portage Center for the Arts has two show openers this Friday: an art reception in the Drury Gallery from 4-6 pm, and a youth theatre production of Newsies in the Zona Gale Theater starting at 7pm!

Visual arts committee members Lorisa Harvey (left) and Laura Johnson were busy yesterday hanging this year's Collaborative Community Art Exhibit, funded in part by Herb Kohl Philanthropies. This year's exhibit is entitled River Towns: art inspired by the geography, culture and history of our river communities. Head over to the Opening Reception this Friday, August 7 from 4-6pm. Free admission always!

I will have a piece in the River Towns showcase and I painted the set for the musical. August 7 is a great night to hang out at Portage Center for the Arts
