We are only one day away from the shop restock!!!
SUPER IMPORTANT INFO BELOW! PLEASE KEEP READING...

All local pick up orders must be picked up no later than May 25, 2023.
Please be sure you will be able to pick up your order promptly if you select local pick-up during checkout.
I will sadly be moving off island soon after the shop restock on May 6, so to ensure that you are able to receive your items, please pick up as soon as possible- and no later than 5/25/2023. Local pick up can be scheduled from the email sent after your order is placed.

As usual, shipping will still be offered within Guam and US.

Working with Talofofo brown sand mixed into my clay has become one of my favorite aspects of opening the kiln after a glaze firing. Throughout the making process, I can get a vague idea of how the sand is speckling the clay, but the speckles arenā€™t very distinctive. It isnā€™t until the pottery has a fired coat of clear glaze that the speckling from the brown sand really can stand outā€¦and it is gorgeous! šŸ¤©

Opening the kiln after a glaze firing is always like magic. All the pots have made drastic transformations and look completely different than they did going in. And the thing about ceramics is, you have to just imagine the end result the entire time you are working. You never know exactly how your pots will look until you crack open that kiln lid. Itā€™s like Christmas morning sprinkled throughout the year in the studio- and the little kid in me loves that feeling!
