been a busy elf 🎄

I’m continuing to crawl toward more mysticism and unrealistic proportions, wanting to merge my own memories into my fantasy world-building—something I’ve enjoyed participating in since I was little. Lately, I’ve been enjoying painting on panel and the different approach it offers my practice. The paint behaves much differently on it than it does on cloth or canvas, picking up more texture and feel—perfect for a moment in the thicket!

As the end of 2025 approaches, I’m beginning to understand how much The Race To Grow Up series meant to me… and how much I need to continue exploring it in new ways throughout this next year.
