Friends, I’m thrilled to share this news with you all!

For a couple of years I have been working on finishing up Hazel Marie Book 2. I had it done, but wasn’t happy with it. It just wasn’t, well, it just wasn’t what I wanted to give you.

So I started over. Then Satan threw life challenges in that were designed to drain my creativity and keep me from writing.

But I’m pressing through and saying “No, you’re not going to win this one, get back behind me!”

In a dark, fallen world, one thing I’ve learned is that there are going to be people who do not want you to succeed and do not want to watch you as you walk in the purpose God has gifted you for and called you to.

That’s fine, that’s on them. They’re the ones missing out. Don’t keep trying to include them in what God is doing through you if they don’t get it.

One day, they will. It’s their loss and your gain. Shake the sand out of your sandals and move on in joy.

It’s really easy to get swept up in wanting the approval of Man. Let’s face it, we all want to be recognized for our hard work and dedication to whatever we put our hands to.

Unfortunately, there is always going to be an agenda that you’re not going to fit into. When you realize that you’re doing your work for our Lord and not for the approval of Man, you stop letting your peace be shaken and you don’t feel hurt when you get slighted or snubbed for whatever reason.

Find your peace, your value, your success in what you do for the Lord and do not do anything for the approval of any human. Recognize your own value and remember that your purpose, your calling is much higher than for the recognition of other human beings.

Your reward is from on High, not from Man.
