Made this piece reflecting on how much of a pillar my mother has been to me. She comes and goes to every event I have no questions asked and at the age of 72. Still spry as ever willing to be available any and every time I’m presented opportunities.

So thankful for who all came and showed out to the sold event. It was an honor to be spotlighted for my work. Beautiful night with family, friend, admirers of my work, and special shoutout for my dad pulling up.

I want to thank my guy and the .art family for loving my work and wanting me in their studio.

It means so much to me and the lil boy that was me as a kid to actually dream.

This piece is very dear to me. I reminisced on my childhood and all the things created what I am today. The amount of self talk I did as a child kept me sane. Constantly thinking about being a grownup feeling my life would be better when “I’m more “ in control of my circumstances.
