Lately I’ve been spending time in my art journal again.
Not to create something finished. Not to share. Just to sit. To listen. To pray.
There’s something sacred about those pages — where color becomes a conversation and every brushstroke feels like a quiet exhale.
It’s in these small, hidden moments that I’m reminded the work I share with you is never just paint. It’s what flows out of these private places. The peace I find there. The healing. The sense of God meeting me right where I am.
Maybe that’s why certain pieces feel like they’re speaking directly to you — because in a way, they were first whispered here, in the stillness, long before they ever made it to canvas.
The art finds you because it was carried there first.
If this resonated with you, I’d love to know you were here. Drop a ♥️ below or share this with someone who needs a reminder that the quiet moments matter. And if you’re looking for a piece that carries that same stillness into your home, come take your time at loridatusfineart.com — there's no rush here.
I’d like to give a special thanks to . I discovered here YouTube channel recently and her art therapy lessons have been such a joy to my heart. Go check her out when you get the chance!
