East Film Club

East Film Club Film Appreciation and Creation This is the page for the first ever East Chapel Hill High School Film Club.

This club's creators (Joel M-K, Sam Blank, and Grant H-M) aim to create a fun-loving group of film lovers who are interested in one or both of our two themes, Film appreciation and creation. Appreciation includes the watching of films as well as comments and suggestions on the creation section's work (those in this area will meet around once a month and it will be very relaxed and fun.) s centered around the making of films to participate in contests and help the community. Creation is much more involved than appreciation but also has big returns, money being one of them.

If you are interested in auditioning as an actor for our winter production, email us at [email protected]. The auditions are Monday and Tuesday at lunch and after school, with callbacks on Wednesday. The rehearsal process is over before Winter Break. We will work around Music Man auditions.

Michael Babbit, a local film maker, will come in on Thursday at lunch to discuss the making of movies. You can come see him in the videography room in lower quad c. It should be very interesting, I hope to see you there!
