I finally finished editing the Cosmic Rift epoxy pour video. Check it out! This will be curing throughout the weekend so check back early next week for the next step in the process!

Oh my…. Cosmic Rift is now in full effect! I can’t wait to make this into a stave snare drum!

I love it when a plan comes together. When creating new designs I tend to let them live in my head until it’s time to bring them together on the mockup. Mockup commenced today and so far so good. Can’t wait to get this together and start filling the rifts in the board blank.

Pewter Glass Glitter wrap for the win! This is a cool little combo here. The 13 x 9 rack tom is from the late 1960’s, 60 years into the Ludwig name as a drum maker, and the larger 16 x 16 floor tom is from 2009, 50 years after the rack tom was made. What a difference in construction between these two drums. Now they will be paired with a matching kick drum and heading out on tour with a Garth Brooks tribute band!

Heading over to the venue to set up for tonight‘s big birthday show! Come check out A Band Down Under - An Australian 80’s Music Review tonight at Pho Cao at 8:30. We will be playing two sets of MTV era 80s and 90s hits from the land down under. Get your fill of INXS, Crowded House, Men At Work, Midnight Oil, the Divynls, Rick Springfield, and many, many more. It’s a free show so come on down early and have some dinner and drinks and enjoy some great tunes!
