Experimenting. I wanted to see how a long hair fur yarn worked in a woven fabric. Definitely on the wild side. To play up the lusciousness, and because it feels so decadent around my neck, I knitted a long scarf and attached it to the top 2/3rds of the long edge. That was actually the hardest part, not dropping a stitch because it was impossible to pick up! 4.5 ft dcp loom using cut strand weaving for all the fringed edges.

Southwest vibes with this shawl. Tassels and fringe just were not blending for me so beads to the rescue. 6ft dcp loom using a chunky yarn. Double slip stitch trim finishes the edges.

So all of this was stars aligning with no planning. I ordered the bandages recommended for making loops and the Amazon vendor sent 15cm instead of 10. Decided to make larger trivets and combining potholder loom pieces together worked out perfectly for the Sheaves pattern by Linda Lutomski. 27 x 43 pins. Pro loops on vertical,, jersey on horizontal. Finished size 8x12". Of course, cannot duplicate a color set.

Stole/wrap using 5 hexagons each 21" across and 4 triangles sewn along the top edge to fill in gaps. Used continuous strand techniques for each shape. Picked the multicolored yarn to pull out the coordinating solids. Heavy worsted weight, 350 grams total used. This is the strength of dcp Looms, being able to make different shapes in the same gauges to piece together ambitious projects without having to buy and store a different loom each time.
