A Call to Action: Honoring a Legacy of Unity & Freedom

Today, we honor the late James Alexander George Smith McCartney (famously known as J.A.G.S.)—a true visionary, husband, father, unifier, liberator, freedom fighter, and Pan-Africanist.

In 1975, J.A.G.S. McCartney, alongside co-founder Lewis Edwin Astwood III, founded the People's Democratic Movement (PDM), the oldest established political organization in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Following the territory's first ministerial elections in 1976, McCartney made history as the first Chief Minister of the Turks and Caicos Islands.

This initiative is not about political parties—it is about honoring people for their timeless contributions to humanity.

Join us as we advocate for a foundation dedicated to carrying forward this legacy of leadership, service, and liberation.

Willin Prophets: Southern California Reggae Pioneers
Willin Prophets is a foundation reggae band with deep roots in the California music scene. Formed in 1980 in Inglewood, California, the group was founded by four brothers originally from the Turks and Caicos Islands. Bringing the authentic rhythms of the islands to the West Coast, they quickly became a staple of the Southern California reggae circuit.

People Mrs Dorothy McCartney the first lady is not dead. I am just honoring her, because people seems to forget about her and how she stand by the chief minister JAGS McCartney as the first, first lady as the Turks and Caicos Islands 🇹🇨. Sorry for the confusion.
