I’m so excited that I can finally share this story with you!

This is the first hat I ever painted, modeled by the gorgeous and incredible Lindsey Lanee.

Here’s how it came to life:

🌵Lindsey’s bday was earlier this month, and I wanted to get her something cute and stylish. I went with this tan, wide brim hat (swipe to see my before photo).

🌵Lindsey is one of the Thrifty Witches so I started to think “she’s a badass fashionista and probably already has a hat like this.” 🤔

🌵So, I decided to raid the paint department in Michaels and spend some creative time making this hat more unique for her.

🌵I made a design on procreate that I knew Lindsey would love, then I started messing with paint.

🌵I haven’t really painted before (I mostly create digital art), but I’ve been staring at a gorgeous art piece in my home by Thomas Francis Keyes Art everyday for a few weeks, and it inspired me to try a brush and paint.

AND I’M SO GLAD I DID.

Thank you to everyone who has been encouraging me throughout this process.

Trying new things can make a person feel so vulnerable, but I am glad I did it because I found a new hobby that I love.

I’m going to launch these bad bi***es 5 at a time, and it looks like I have just one to finish before they’re ready.
