Hello! I’m Janet, the creator behind Cuddly Cacti Creations. What started off in January of 2022 as a desire to learn how to make crocheted stuffed animals and dolls as way to cope with the frequent hospitalizations of one of my children quickly grew into a passion of all things involving yarn and a crochet hook.

As my skill and love of crochet grew, and through my family’s encouragement, the business Cuddly Cacti Creations was born: “Cuddly” because I love to make cuddly things, “Cacti” because of my love of my home state of Arizona, and “Creations” because of my love crafting in general as well as wanting a business name that could showcase a variety of types of products.

Everything I present is made be me from my home on Arizona. Cuddly Cacti Creations can be shopped in person at all three locations of The Collective Market AZ (Chandler Fashion Center, SanTan Village, & Scottsdale Fashion Square). Color customization is available—just email me (link in bio) and we can work out the details. If you aren’t local and would like something, please email me and we can collaborate.

It’s opening day of The Collective Market AZ at Scottsdale Fashion Square! There are SO MANY fantastic businesses represented here—all based in Arizona with a lot of handcrafted care going into the products represented. I love that I get to be a part of all three locations—what a dream come true!

New bags are all set up just in time for opening day of The Collective Market AZ at Scottsdale Fashion Square tomorrow (10/1)! I’m SO EXCITED to see this location open—so many people have worked so hard to pull it all together and it’s so exciting to see all the small businesses represented coming together to make a fantastic store!

Another set of shelves have been built by my amazing, wonderful, supportive hubby! Why? Why does Cuddly Cacti Creations need more shelves? Why have I been making everything in triplicate for the last month or so? BECAUSE…The Collective Marketplace AZ is opening a third location at Scottsdale Fashion Square and Cuddly Cacti Creations is going to be there too! Yup, that’s right, I may have officially lost my mind and will be in three locations at least through the holiday season (Scottsdale might be a short term arrangement with the mall—but time will tell). More details on the timing of our Scottsdale location opening in the coming days—but it’s opening soon and I’m excited!
