The joy of winter outdoor painting. I Joined a group of over 20 fellow artists a couple of weeks ago for a wilderness camp winter painting adventure at YMCA Camp Menogyn off of the Gunflint trail in northern Minnesota. An excellent week of painting, friendship, camp fires, dog sleds, sauna & cold plunge, plus the great food and hospitality provided by camp staff. Thanks to the OPM (Outdoor Painters of Minnesota) for organizing the annual event. Everyone’s paintings are on display at the Johnson Heritage Center in Grand Marais, MN until March 22.
