I’ve got a friend in the area looking for a 75 gallon or larger; so I wanted to put some feelers out within the community and see if anyone was looking to sell a full set up/tank or if they know anyone with one🐠🤷🏻‍♀️🐟Looking for freshwater or a salt set up that could easily convert, nothing wild.

When you see something that DEFINITELY shouldn’t be in an all male tank😅😅😅 This was a surprise to everyone, but when you purchase fish as juvenile or at a pre-matured age, you may end up with a blend of sexes by the time everyone grows up.

Looks like we have a bonded pair in the 125 at U of I😍 the staff and I are so excited to see how these babies color up! We’ve seen two so far, curious to see how many are actually growing in there👀

Target feeding in a community tank has its challenges, but lucky for me, one of the OG boys knows how to navigate and get his treats😍

Absolutely love these stinkers and can’t wait to be back this coming week for our usual maintenance visit🙌🏼

Always love seeing my boys in the 125, and the elders of the group will eat from my hands, but their aim isn’t as accurate as I feel like it could be☠️

Still processing having our own pond.

Spring 2023 is going to be the year of the koi🫶🏼

Cannot wait for the porch to be updated, the pergola build with Robert and ALL OF THE FLOWERS🙌🏼

The boys will be getting some new house mates in the next week, I think I'm more excited than they are though😂

Fingers crossed they get along and welcome their new friends with open fins🐟🐌🐟

We are SO thankful for the friends and family in our lives.

After dislocating my IP joint, Robert in the middle of remodeling the interior of the house, working, and taking care of the entire household while I was sick for 2+ weeks and being down to one hand, putting our own pond in was on the back burner for an indefinite amount of time.

Fast forward to my parents packing a shovel, driving 3+ hours to visit and work, and a coworker giving up his free time to come out and help as well.

What would have taken Robert 4-6 hours to knock out himself, took 2 hours to dig, backfill and get water and filtration in.

I FINALLY HAVE MY OWN POND😭🥰😭

We've got more landscaping and electrical work to do, but it isn't a wild dream anymore and I am SO thankful🙌

This is incredibly common, luckily for this little noodle, I was here super early this morning to help him/her out🙈🐍👌

Off to visit the boys in the 125 and then start my regular day🙌
