We have been blown away by how many of you attended the Put Big light On Festival 2025! The numbers surpassed all our expectations and we want to thank you all for your support. This year’s event showcased incredible immersive artwork, some of which has travelled around the globe, and we were so delighted that each piece was there.
Borealis and Mars brought peaceful, enchanting marvels of outer space to our Town Centre.
Walkabout performances from the Lumens, Astronaut, Living Lamp Posts, and Barn Owl meant no street was without the magic of this event.
Wave, Garden, and Submergence provided an opportunity for visitors to interact with the light art, whilst experiencing its captivating visual effects.
On Elizabeth Park, Folk Dance Remixed and Beacon of Hope brought the performing arts (including a public performance) together with a captivating installation representing the connection, participation, and shared hope of all those who gathered around it.
Cheadle Square Gardens played host to the brand-new Celestial Carousel, which also combined performance with light art, inviting visitors to join the carousel’s gallop across the night sky.
