🇺🇸 What an incredible way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
I had the honor of teaching a large corporate paint party at AEP Headquarters, and I’m so grateful to Lindsay for thinking of me and trusting me to help create a fun experience for her coworkers before the fireworks.
Throughout the evening, I watched people laugh together, encourage one another, and put their own creative spin on their door hangers. One of my favorite moments was seeing parents help their son paint his own sunflower door hanger. Those are the kinds of memories that make paint parties so special.
Even though the evening had a few unexpected challenges (because every event does!), seeing everyone proudly hold up their finished projects reminded me why I love what I do.
And as if that wasn’t enough, my own son got to experience the fireworks from the 30th floor overlooking downtown. Watching them together from that view—without all the noise overwhelming him—is a memory I’ll treasure for a long time.
At the end of the night, just before the fireworks started, we stood with a group of AEP employees and guests and as the National Anthem played we joined together and sang along in harmony and pride for our country.
Thank you again to Lindsay and everyone at AEP for welcoming Prismatic Flair. I had so much fun painting with all of you, and I hope your door hangers make you smile every time you see them.
