As we wind down our final gigs, we just wanted to say again how much we’ve appreciate all the support over the years. It means the world to us and we want you to know that it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Sadly, we will be unable to join all of our friends at the Surf Ballroom next weekend. We feel fortunate that we were able to play on that stage a few years ago and wish everyone the best of luck with the event.

Next Friday we will be at NewBo Rock the Block 2021 for a special hometown throwdown with a bunch of special guests. Don’t miss it. It will be one for the ages.

Finally, we will wrap up on September 6th in Port Byron, IL at the Baby Blues Fest 2021.

Come out and support the Market this summer, and be sure to put September 3rd on your calendar! We are putting together our final Cedar Rapids shindig for Rock the Block and are looking forward to sharing it with as many of you as can make it!

The socially-distant yard squares are returning and so are the iconic summer events at NewBo City Market!

We can't overstate how excited we are to see everyone this summer and finally get to play some shows. Having said that, this will also be the last summer of gigs for The Bamboozlers.

You've supported us and showed up everywhere from backyard parties to beachfront gigs with our heroes. Our success is entirely due to your support. We've had incredible shows on the beach (who remembers that late-night set at Music On the Bay ?), at massive tailgate parties (we will never forget that Des Moines Buffett show), in packed wall-to-wall clubs (playing with Daniel Donato was incredible and our Leap Year party at Moco was out of control), and more than a few VIP events at Buffett's Alpine Valley shows.

We also need to send a special thank you to the Isle of Iowa Parrot Head Club and our dear friend Bart Mason, who we sadly lost last year. It was directly because of him and the support of the club that we were afforded so many musical experiences that we will treasure forever. For that we will always be thankful.

We hope you can make it to see us this summer as we wrap things up. It will be great to see you, give you an elbow bump, and play some tunes.

p.s. Keep September 3rd on your calendars. We are planning a special hometown throwdown with some of our friends.

Yesterday we lost Bart Mason who was as close to an honorary Bamboozler as you can get. He was a guiding light of the trop-rock scene and our biggest cheerleader. Most of the bigger-deal gigs we’ve played over the past five years or so – from the beaches of Panama City to the Surf Ballroom – had something to do with Bart’s belief in us and his ability to make things happen. We are so thankful for his friendship and will miss him dearly. Our thoughts are with Michelle and their family.
